When planning a party, get together, garage or estate sale, the LHA recommends that homeowners call the Records Division at the Leawood Police Department at 913-642-7700 to request temporary "No Parking" signs. The Police Department will forward approved requests to the Public Works Department for installation. This process may take up to 2 to 3 days. Residents wishing to confirm that their request was processed by the Police and Public Works Department are asked to phone 24 hours prior to the event; preferably in the morning. 

 

The installation of "No Parking" signs will assist in providing a more passable street and access for emergency vehicles should the need arise.  The signs will be picked up by the Public Works Department on the next working day.
